習近平の高笑いが聞こえてくるようです。ウイグル人ジェノサイドをアメリカ政府が公式認定し、香港の弾圧を世界中のメディアが報道しているにも関わらず、IOCは北京で2022年冬季オリンピックを開催しようとしています。日本の五輪組織委員長は女性に関する発言で辞任させられたのに、中国の民族大虐殺は問題ないというのです。習近平は笑いが止まらないだけでなく、不思議で仕方がないかも知れません。後世歴史家は「あの時代は狂っていた」と評するでしょう。
言うまでもなくオリンピックは象徴的意味を持ちます。来年北京で開催されたら中国共産党は、もはや何をやっても許されると思いあがります。ウイグル人ジェノサイドに拍車がかかり、ますます多くの人が殺されます。膨張主義は一層露骨になり、遠からず尖閣諸島は電撃占領されます。ポンペオ前国務長官が1月19日のジェノサイド認定で、「もしも中国共産党が自国民に対してジェノサイドと人道に対する罪を犯すことを許されたならば、さほど遠くない将来、自信をつけて大胆になった同党が自由世界に対してなにを行ってくるか想像してほしい」と述べましたが、尖閣占領については想像でなく確かな予測です。
背景にあるのはバッハIOC会長の人権意識の低さです。バッハが人道犯罪者・金正恩と握手した3年前、ドイツ公共放送ドイチェ・ヴェレは「世界は北朝鮮人道犯罪を無視するのか？」と題した記事を出し、私の「これを許すことは第二次世界大戦中にヨーロッパのユダヤ人虐殺を無視するのと同等の犯罪行為だ」というバッハ非難コメントを掲載しました。その記事を引用して皆様とともに世界各国のオリンピック委員会に厳しい内容の抗議文を送りました。
いまだ改善されていないのは腹立たしい限りです。
北京オリンピックを開催させてはなりません。しかしボイコットは選手の夢を壊すので避けたいところです。そこでジャーナリストの有本香さんが主張しているように、札幌か長野に開催地を変更すればいいと思います。必要な設備は整っているので今なら十分間に合います。むろん札幌・長野以外にも数か月の準備期間で2022年冬季オリンピックを開催できる都市は世界中に多数あります。「平和の祭典であるオリンピックはふさわしい場所で開催されるべき」という意見に、公然と反対する人は少ないのではないでしょうか？
ここで皆様にお願いがあります。ほんの少しだけお時間をください。IOCや世界中のオリンピック委員会に同報メールを送って、ウイグル人ジェノサイドを告発したうえで開催地変更を迫っていただきたいのです。
いまウイグルで100万人以上（恐らく数百万人）の無実の人が強制収容所に監禁され、拷問されレイプされ殺されています。これに沈黙することは日本人としてのあり方に反するし、日本の安全を脅かす結果をも生みます。世界中にどんどん訴えていく必要があります。
例文ではイスラム教徒が被害者だと強調しました。送り先にイスラム教国が多数含まれますが、引用したBBC記事を読んで平静でいられる敬虔なイスラム教徒はいません。イスラム教徒はお互いに助け合う義務があるのです。またキリスト教徒の欧米人も「イスラム教徒が虐殺されているのに無視した」と非難されることは避けたいです。事実は力を発揮します。

The IOC must not aid and abet systematic rape, torture and killing of Muslim Uyghurs by organizing the Beijing 2022 Olympics. We urge the IOC to immediately find another host city so as not to repeat the mistake of the Berlin 1936 Olympics that provided the Nazis a great opportunity for propaganda. The difference between 1936 and 2022 Olympics is that the world was not fully aware of what was going on in 1935 but now we all know that former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said while in office: "this genocide is ongoing, and that we are witnessing the systematic attempt to destroy Uyghurs by the Chinese party-state."
Mr Pompeo has made it clear: "after careful examination of the available facts, I have determined that the PRC, under the direction and control of the CCP, has committed genocide against the predominantly Muslim Uyghurs and other ethnic and religious minority groups in Xinjiang."
He also said: "The Nuremberg Tribunals at the end of World War II prosecuted perpetrators for crimes against humanity, the same crimes being perpetrated in Xinjiang."
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on 27 January: "My judgment remains that genocide was committed against the Uyghurs and that hasn't changed,"
On 22 February, UK Foreign Minister Dominic Raab addressed the UN Human Rights Council: "we see almost daily reports now that shine a new light on China's systematic human rights violations perpetrated against Uyghur Muslims and other minorities in Xinjiang. The situation in Xinjiang is beyond the pale. The reported abuses – which include torture, forced labour and forced sterilisation of women – are extreme and they are extensive. They are taking place on an industrial scale. It must be our collective duty to ensure this does not go unanswered."
The BBC report on 2 February on systematic rape and torture against Muslim women in China's "re-education" camps has shocked the world. A victim told the BBC: "The woman took me to the room next to where the other girl had been taken in. They had an electric stick, I didn't know what it was, and it was pushed inside my genital tract, torturing me with an electric shock."
If the 2022 Olympics were held in Beijing, it will surely send the wrong message to the Chinese authorities and worsen the situation, and the IOC will be held responsible for the suffering and death of Muslims. As you are well aware, there are many cities in the world that can host the 2022 Olympics and there is no room for excuses.
